About JSS PU College, Jayanagar
JSS PU College, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, was started in 1983. The institution features among the well-known colleges of Bengaluru.
The College initially offered Commerce(GEBA) and Science(PCMB) courses. In 1998, a new course ECBA was introduced, and subsequently, the Arts Section (HEPG) was started. Kannada, Sanskrit, and Hindi languages are taught as a part of the subjects.
In order to keep pace with the latest technological advancements, a Computer Science course was introduced in 2003. The College also has an NSS wing to serve society. The year 2008 was a landmark in the history of this College, as it celebrated its Silver Jubilee. Seminars, lectures, inter-collegiate competitions, etc., were held as a part of the Silver jubilee function. Over the years, the College is marching steadily with healthy goals and contributing good citizens to the country.

About JSS PU College, Jayanagar
JSS PU College, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, features among the well-known colleges in Bengaluru. The current premises, in which the JSS PU College is located, had a high school earlier. The residents of Jayanagar approached His Holiness Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji to start a PU College to meet the needs of the local residents. Thus, with the blessings of His Holiness, the JSS PU College was opened in 1983.
The PU College offering Commerce (GEBA) and Science (PCMB) courses was started with a handful of students. The fee charged was nominal. The strength of the students increased gradually. In 1998, a new course ECBA was introduced and the response was overwhelming. Later on, the Arts Section (HEPG) was included. Kannada, Sanskrit, and Hindi languages were offered as part I subjects.
