JSS Institute of Education, B.Ed College, Suttur, Nanjangud, was established in the year 2004-05. The campus spreads across a sprawling 60 acres of land and is equipped with the best infrastructure. The location is in a serene atmosphere entirely free from pollution on the banks of River Kapila. Suttur is at a distance of 28 km from Mysuru, 15 Km from Nanjangud and 15 T.Narasipur.
Eligibility : Pass in Any Degree (including B.E., and B.Com.,) or Post Graduation with 50% Marks, for SC/ST and Physically Challenged Students a Pass with 45 5 marks.
Intake: 50 Students (25 Government Quota + 25 Management Quota)

Classrooms : The college has well-furnished, spacious and equipped with technology classrooms.
Laboratories: The College has Educational Technology Lab, Language Lab, Science Lab, Educational Psychology Lab, Curriculum Lab, etc. The College has ICT Resource Centre with 75 computers and has access to the Internet. The management maintains a Museum and a Science Park in the vicinity of the College.
Library: The College has a spacious library and reading room with a massive collection of over 30,000 books catering to the needs of education, perspectives, pedagogy, school textbooks, fiction, etc. Besides, various educational journals, magazines and newspapers are also subscribed.
Multi-purpose Playground: The College has a provision for various indoor games and an extent of 6 ½ Acres of land for outdoor sports activities like volleyball, basketball, football and badminton court and also a cricket pitch, multi-gym, athletic track, etc..
Multi-purpose Hall: The College has a multi-purpose hall (Allamaprabhu Auditorium) for seminars, conferences, workshops, etc., The hall has a seating capacity of 350 students with Air conditioning and a Digital Sound System.
Basic Amenities: The College has purified drinking water facilities, Washrooms and Rest Rooms for gents and ladies, Canteen Facility etc.
Hostel : The College has separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls with Solar Water, Medical and Security Facilities. Special attention to Music, Drama and Sports activities for Hostel Students.
24×7 hospital: The College has a well-equipped hospital (with both Allopathy and Ayurveda treatments) that works 24×7 in its campus.
Staff Quarters: Staff quarters are provided for the employees of the institution and is at a walkable distance from the College.
