About Us
Sri Mahadeshwara High School, Kamagere, Kollegal Taluk, Chamarajanagara District was established in the year 1971. The school is located in an area of one acre. It is a Kannada Medium school having about 125 students.
Admissions are made as per the rules of the Government. Students are given priority in admission on ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
The School has three classrooms, a library, a staff room, a computer room and a playground. It has a good stock of sports material and many scientific devices and equipment. The playground has volleyball, throw ball and Kho-kho courts.
Cultural programmes are held during the last period of Fridays. Talented students selected in these programmes are given opportunity to represent the school in inter-school cultural competitions. Every year students of the school participate in the cultural programmes and competitions held during the annual Jatra Mahothasava, in Suttur Sri Kshetra. All national and traditional festivals are meaningfully celebrated in the school.
