This institution in Saraswathipuram was established in the year 1962. Formerly, the premises housed a film studio named ‘Nava Jyothi’. His Holiness Rajendra Swamiji purchased the studio and started a school. The institution began with minimal infrastructure and has now grown into a well-established educational complex. For over 55 years, our school has been imparting knowledge to children. Many dedicated teachers have contributed significantly to the school’s development. We promote the healthy growth of our students by fostering a creative atmosphere and instilling values, skills, and positive thinking.
Our school possesses excellent infrastructure to support both academic and cultural development. We have spacious, well-maintained classrooms, a well-equipped science laboratory, a computer lab, a library, sports materials, and other basic facilities.
- Admission is offered to classes from 8th to 10th std as per the rules of Govt. of Karnataka.
- Both English and Kannada Mediums are offered.
- We follow the syllabus set by the Karnataka State Education Board and the academic year starts in the first week of June.
Students are encouraged to actively participate in arts, sports, and other creative activities. They are trained in various forms such as Vachana Gayana, Bhavageethe, and devotional songs. Our students regularly take part in taluk, district, state, and national-level sports and cultural competitions. We also motivate them to appear for competitive exams like NTSE and NMMS.
Sports and games play a vital role in the mental and physical development of students. The school is equipped with both indoor and outdoor sports materials. We organize annual sports meets, and our students enthusiastically participate in various competitions, including those held as part of the Suttur Jathra Mahotsav.
