About Us
This high school was established by His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji in 1992 with a view to provide quality education to rural students. The school is ideally located in the centre of Kalkunike, a village in Hunsur. The school has a wonderful building on the banks of River Lakshmana Theertha. The school is housed in a new building from 2007.
The school has all modern facilities to meet the needs of students. There are seven rooms in the building with a separate classroom for each standard. There are separate rooms for Library, Sports and Computers. The institution has a big playground and students are encouraged to play all outdoor games. The school has demonstrated its commitment to the environment by planting around 200 different plants in the playground.
