This school is well equipped with all the facilities for the students.
This High School was established in the year 1969 at Vani Vilas Road, Mysuru. Initially, it was started as a Hindi medium school later due to insufficient student strength it was converted to Kannada medium and in 2006, the school was shifted to Shakthi Nagar, JSS Layout, which is 4 km away from Mysuru city. The school provides facilities which nurture the all-round development of the students. We believe that learning should not be confined to textbooks, so we encourage students to look at studies beyond classrooms and develop a thirst for knowledge and wisdom.
- Admission is open to the classes from 8th to 10th std based on merit and oral test.
- The admissions and academic year begin in the last week of May.
- The medium of instruction is Kannada.
The building is well structured with provisions for proper ventilation and lighting. It includes spacious classrooms, a well-equipped science laboratory, a well-stocked library, an IT lab, indoor and outdoor sporting materials, and other amenities.
Apart from studies, the entire academic year is filled with many cultural and sports activities that charge the students. Students are encouraged and trained to participate in activities of their interests. Dance, music, drama, and other creative activities are encouraged. Our students take part in cultural programmes organized as a part of Suttur Jatra Mahotsav and in Pratibha Karanji competitions.
We provide coaching in various sports like volleyball, throwball, Kho-Kho and cricket. Inter-school sports competitions are conducted every year. Our students also take part in Taluk level competitions, sports meet at Suttur Jatra Mahotsav and Annual day sports activities.
