About Us

In the academic year 1989-90, the JSS Balajagath established a High School on its campus. The school, through its holistic approach, aims at the overall development of the students and prepares them to face the outer world challenges.

The institution which is situated in the heart of Mysuru provides all the amenities required for the development of a student. The school has a good infrastructure, a library, a computer lab, and a science lab. Here, cultural and sports training is given par importance with academics.

With its constant efforts, the school has excelled in academics and has attracted more and more students. Over the years, our school has produced many talented students who have achieved in their life and have made us proud.

Academics and Admission

The students are admitted to 8^th,9^th and 10^th standards based on their performance in written tests and interviews.
Admissions start in the last week of May.

Activities

The student’s union organizes various cultural and sports competitions throughout the year. Here, arts, music, craft, dance, and drama are encouraged, and our students show great enthusiasm in participating in the activities organized by the arts club, science club and language club. Apart from these, our students participate in inter-school and Pratibha Karanji competitions organized by the state government and have won many accolades.

Every year a science exhibition is arranged in the school in which students carry out scientific experiments and prepare charts and models under the prior guidance of their teachers.
