Student life is the foundation for a better future
Suttur, June 30, 2018: “Student days will lay a strong foundation to develop a good personality and lead a good life,” opined Sri K. Vikram Simha Rao, Director, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.
He welcomed the newly admitted students of the JSS School in Suttur, by distributing saplings. He advised the students to make good use of the opportunities and called upon to contribute to the development of the country by creating a good and healthy environment.
In his talk, Chief Guest Dr Samakeeth Muni Maharaj opined that the Jain religion preaches truth, non-violence and tolerance towards other faiths. He advised the students to develop love towards the country, and trust their respective religions.
Sri S. Shivakumarswamy, Secretary, JSS MVP, presided over the programme. “The students studying at the JSS School in Suttur, should develop values of life and make good use of the beautiful environment to learn.
Sri G.L. Tripurantaka, Coordinating Officer, gave the introductory speech. Jain Community seers Dr Bhavanth Munishri Maharaj, Sri Javandh Munishri Maharaj, leaders of the Jain community, Mysuru, Sri Sampath, Sri Veerabhadraiah, Sri G. Shivamallu, Smt. C.P. Nirmala, Sri B.M. Siddappa and others were present.
The programme commenced with an invocation by the school students. Kum. Maanikeshwari welcomed, and Eeraiah compered.
