“Pursue your dreams and become what you like” – Bhagirathi Bai
Suttur, July 29, 2017: “Most of the parents wish that their children shall get good education and become a doctor or an engineer. It was also the wish of my parents too. But I always intended to become an actress and became one. Pursue your dreams and become what you like.”
These were the words of Smt. Bhagirathi Bai, Director, Rangayana, Mysuru. She was addressing the students of the JSS Residential School, Suttur, after inaugurating the Student Union. In her address she opined that having a specific aim will help them to achieve. “Theater also creates awareness about life. We should be honest and devoted towards whatever work we do. Education gives us knowledge. But an overconfident person might lag in learning,” she added.
Hon’ble Editor of Sudharma Samskrutha newspaper Dr. H. V. Nagarajarao presided over the function. In his address to the students he opined that if our work helps others it gives us ultimate contentment and happiness. He wished every student shall make an achievement so that it helps others. He also observed that those who receive our help should also have gratitude.
JSS Institutions Administrative Officer Sri S. P. Udayashankar, coordinators Sri G. L. Tripurantaka, Additional Coordinator Sri Sampath, Assistant Coordinator Sri Veerabhadraiah, High School Headmaster Sri G. Shivamallu, Smt. C. P. Nirmala, Higher Primary School Headmaster Sri B. M. Siddappa, Sri G. M. Shadakshari and others were present.
Earlier the programme commenced with an invocation by the school students. Smt. S. N. Suryaprabha welcomed and Smt. H. L. Nanda proposed a vote of thanks. Smt. K. S. Mamatha compered.
