Mahashivarathri observed with fervor at Suttur Srikshetra

Suttur, February 14, 2018: Special pujas were held the whole night at the Suttur Srikshetra on the occasion of Mahashivarathri, in the divine presence of Paramapujya Jagadguru Sri Shivarthreeshwara Deshikendra Mahaswamiji.

Special pujas were offered to the Adijagadguru Sri Shivarthreeshwara Shivayogi’s Shrine, Sri Mahadeshwara, Sri Someshwara, Sri Veerabhadreshwara and Sri Narayanaswami temples.

Students of the JSS Educational Institution, Suttur, presented several devotional cultural programmes. Keerthanachatura Vidwan Sri S.R. Lakshminarasimhan of Mysuru presented the Shivakatha Sankeerthana.

The devotional songs by Gaanamanjari team of Mysuru earned appreciation from the devotees. Kamsale Srikumaraswamy and team of Mysuru presented a Kamsale programme. The Sri Basaveshwara Bhajana team of Horalawadi created a devotional environment with their bhajans. More than 100 vatus were given Shivadeeksha on this occasion.

Thousands of devotees and public took part in the special puja programmes and the Belliratha (Silver Chariot).
