Admissions and Academics

Admission is open to classes 8^th, 9^th and 10^th based on merit and oral test.
Children completing 13 years are eligible for admission to class 8.
The admissions and academic year begin in the last week of May.
The medium of instruction is English.

Cultural and sports activities give equal importance to academics. We provide coaching in various sports like volleyball, throwball, Kho-Kho and cricket. Inter-school sports competitions are conducted every year. Our students also take part in Taluk level competitions, sports meet at Suttur Jatra Mahotsav and in Annual day sports activities.

Cultural activities are conducted throughout the year. Dance, music, drama, and other creative activities are encouraged. Our students take part in cultural programmes organized as a part of Suttur Jatra Mahotsav and in Pratibha Karanji competitions.

About Us

JSS High School, Kodasoge was established in the year 1992-93 with the blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. Kodasoge is a village surrounded by hills and a picturesque environment. It has Hulugana Murudi Venkataramanswamy Hills to its east, Himavad Gopalaswamy Hills to its west, Sri Parvathi Hills (known as Skandagiri) to its North and Sri Mallikarjunaswamy Hills to its South.

Our school has an excellent infrastructure that helps with the healthy growth of the students. The school aims at the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of the students by inculcating positive thoughts and morale. We have an experienced and dedicated team of faculty and have been producing good results in SSLC consistently for the last several years.
