Teachers Day celebration at JSS School in Suttur

Suttur, Sept. 05, 2020: In a grand celebration of Teachers Day, JSS Educational Institution in Suttur organized a special programme to honor and appreciate the dedicated educators who shape the future of the students.

Addressing the gathering, Sri N.T. Satish, Lecturer at JSS D.L.Ed. College, emphasized the crucial role of teachers in society and their responsibility to nurture students into responsible citizens. He stressed the importance of imparting not only knowledge but also instilling moral values in the students.

As a token of gratitude, five trainers, namely Sri Veerappa, Sri Ajaykumar, Smt. Shweta, Sri B. Manohar, and Smt. Sharada, who provided commendable computer training to the teachers over the past three months, were felicitated during the event.

The heads of various departments of the school, including Sri G.L. Tripurantaka, Sri Sampath, Sri Veerabhadraiah, Dr. M.C. Nataraj, Smt. C.P. Nirmala, Sri B.M. Siddappa, Sri G.M. Shadakshari, and Sri Mahadevaprasad, graced the occasion with their presence.

The event commenced with a soulful invocation by Sri M. Rajashekaramurthy, followed by a warm welcome and introductory address by Sri G.L. Tripurantaka. The vote of thanks was delivered by Sri N.G. Shivamurthy, expressing gratitude to all the participants and contributors. The program was effectively hosted by Smt. D.S. Ambika.

105th Jayanthi Celebrations of Srimanmaharaja Rajaguruthilaka Parampujya Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji celebrated digitally

The 105th Jayanthi Celebrations of Srimanmaharaja Rajaguruthilaka Parampujya Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Rajendra Mahaswamiji were commemorated in a grand digital ceremony, graced by the divine presence of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji and attended by esteemed dignitaries from various locations.

The event was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Defence Minister of India, Sri. Rajnath Singh, who extended his warm wishes to the gathering. Sri BS Yeddyurappa, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, unveiled the captivating animation film titled “Guruparampare and The Heritage of Suttur Math”. The ceremony was presided over by Sri Deve Gowda, Member of Parliament and Former Prime Minister of India. Additionally, the distinguished guests, including Sri Siddaramaiah, Leader of Opposition and Former Chief Minister, graced the occasion by releasing significant books.

The celebration reached its culmination with a captivating webcast of the Animation film and an engaging Quiz competition, allowing participants and viewers to immerse themselves in the auspicious occasion.

Suttur, August 27, 2020: Special pooja and Rudrabhisheka were performed at the Sri Veerabhadreshwara Temple inside the Srimath premises and Veerabhadreshwara Gudda in Suttur, on August 25, 2020, Tuesday, on the occasion of Sri Veerabhadreshwara Jayanti celebrations.
Due to the Corona pandemic entry of devotees was restricted and they paid their obeisance and respects from their homes.

The JSS High School has registered 86% results in the recently held SSLC examinations. Out of the total number of 594 students who appeared for SSLC examinations at the JSS High School, in Suttur this year, 511 students have passed out.

While 100 students have scored more than 500 marks out of the total 625 marks, 45 students have secured distinction, and 1st class (356), 2nd class (112), and 3rd class (09).

While from Kannada medium Kashinath S. Kakkalameli has secured 600 marks and emerged as the highest scorer, Kiran N. Math has secured second place by scoring 589 marks. The Kannada medium of the school has secured 85% results.

In English medium Deepika A.S. has secured 605 marks and emerged as the highest scorer from this school, followed by Malappa 2nd place (580 marks). The English medium of the school has registered 88% results.

Student Kashinath S. Kakkalameli and Basavaraj Ashok Chabbi of Kannada medium have scored 125/125 in Kannada language.
In Hindi a total number of nine students including Mahesh, Parvathi, Sudha, Virupakshaiah Siddaiah Hiremath, Yashoda S. Uralagaddi, Abhishek, Anjom Sweetidevi, Darshan S.S., and Kumuda have scored 100/100 marks. In Social Science subject Deepika A.S., Nethra R have scored 100/100 marks.

The management, coordinating officer, heads of various departments, head master, teaching and non-teaching staff have congratulated all the students who have brought laurels to the school.

JSS Ayurveda Hospital introduces ayurvedic medicines to bolster immunity power

In the backdrop of COVID-19, the JSS Ayurveda Hospital, Mysuru has introduced ayurvedic medicines to bolster immunity power. His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji launched the “Immunity Booster Kits” at Sri Suttur Math, Mysuru, on August 10,2020.
On this occasion, Sri C G Betsurmath, Executive Secretary, Sri Shivakumaraswamy, Secretary II, Sri Mahesh R, Director, Sri Rajesh U, Dean and Sri Sarbeshwar Kar, of JSS MVP were present.
Immunity Booster Kits are available to the public at JSS Ayurveda Hospital, Lalithadripura, JSS Hospital, Mysuru and at the JSS Jana Oushadi Kendras.

Live telecast of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi programme

The JSS ICAR KVK had arranged a live telecast of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi programme at its centre in Suttur on August 9, 2020, Sunday. A total number of 32 farmers took part in the programme. While a few farmers confirmed that they had received the money, others were informed to utilize the benefit.
